The Black Women In Jazz & The Arts Awards

CoffeeTalk JAZZ was named and won for Best All Jazz Publications 2015 and Ms. Bridgette Y. Lewis has been named as the best Black Female Radio Host Internet among and elite group.

This black tie event features a night of glamour and elegances showcasing the immense talent black women display as it relates jazz and the arts. Their mission to create a greater awareness of the many vital contributions that African American Female artists have made in the past, present and future of jazz. BWIJAA celebrate the awesome work of known artists, spotlight the up and coming artists, and honor the sophisticated ladies who present such phenomenal work but who may have gotten lost in the shuffle.

Black Women In Jazz Day is March 1 and is celebrated with an annual black tie awards gala.
